The 18 gauge wire gives it an exceptionally long life span. Cut this up to the desired lengths, attach plugs, and you are good to go. The wire has a max capacity of 7 amps (or 840 Watts), to be sure that the total wattage of the bulbs you use does not exceed this amount. There is a 12 inch spacing between the heavy duty light sockets on this green wire strand, and approximately 500 sockets on the strand. This wire is compatible with most light strings and any standard C-7 lights. It has a 6 inch lead cord and a 6 inch end cord. Hang it on your larger trees, along the outside of your home, in shopping malls, and any other large area that needs some illuminated magic. Power plug and light bulbs sold separately.
